Ooh Wee Latrece Soul Food

Me and my daughter went out on a search for some comfort food in mesquite. I was heart broken when things on the menu was Sunday only. Me and my daughter decided ok we will come back tomorrow (Sunday) and decided to grab a banana pudding so I can at least get that. Imagine my heart break when I open it and it’s cookies on the bottom chopped up bananas and hot store bought pudding on top!! Nothing comforting about that. Guess we will keep looking! P.S it’s a nice young lady who was new took my order and she didn’t know things on the menu was Sunday only. The lady I’m assuming is the owner comes from the kitchen and gave her a public lashing about paying attention when what I ordered never even said Sunday only. It would explain why she is on every bad review arguing instead of trying to do better ????!! You addressed everything but why that banana pudding taste like trash and the restaurant stay empty!!! Food was amazing and everyone was so nice! We had the Oxtails, catfish, fried chicken, pinto beans, fried okra, Mac n cheese, collard greens cabbage, french fries, yams and peach cobbler. So glad I came across this wonderful restaurant. You all are amazing and made me feel like we knew each other personally! If you haven't tried them out, please do so!

Hello, A week ago today, I Ordered smothered pork chops with Mac & cheese & greens/ chicken fried chicken with dressing & Mac. Plus a catfish basket. Of course something sweet (banana pudding) Everything was very tasty & fresh. The portion was plentiful . The price was right! I'm going back today to place another order & to pay for my food from last week. I didn't have my debit card & they don't take checks. I was overwhelmed with gratitude that Latrece insisted that I take the food . Of course I did. This is the first time in my life that a food establishment has gone over & above their call of duty . Please show some Grace & Mercy if what you want isn't on the Menu at this time. Thanks Latrece & Kenneth for blessings my family!! May God continue to bless you both & your business.
