On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - S. Colorado Springs

I grew up coming to this location, and even though I've lived away from home for nearly 10 years, almost everytime I go home we go here. We are almost always greeted by the same lady, she has been there nearly 26 something years she told me this last visit home. It's nice when everything changes but a few things remain the same. I've been to other on the borders but this one is by far my favorite, the food is always good and I've never had a bad waiter or waitress!

We stopped in for lunch. Parking was odd as you had to walk halfway around the building but nice entryway once you get there. We were seated right away and greeted promptly by our server. The food was delicious ???? and awesome service! The refried beans are homemade and absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD ????

Ordered On The Border catering for an office luncheon and it was FANTASTIC!! The ease of placing a large catering order on line was a total bonus!! Daniel arrived with our food right on time. He was super helpful and very friendly!! He explained each of the meals to us and was kind enough to lay the spread out for us. The food is extremely tasty and arrived at the appropriate temps (hot food was hot and cold food was cold) and the crunchy food was crunchy...not something you always see with delivered Mexican food. We ordered enchiladas, crunchy and soft tacos, empanadas, and tres leches cake. The bag of chips for the side was HUGE!!! Did not at all taste like a chain restaurant. I would highly recommend On The Border and I for sure will be eating at the restaurant as well. Look forward to sampling the margaritas.
