Nikko Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

For sushi I'd say it's one of the better places in the city, but a touch short of the best. A little off in one respect or another. It's definitely got a vibe. I get the impression it gets clubby at night, which isn't my jam, but for lunch during the week it was pretty chill. Fish in their display case - some looked great, some looked so-so. The stuff that came out with my nigiri was good though, for sure. Nice knife work and preparation. Putting a wad of horseradish "wasabi" on top of uni seems like an odd choice; I'd take that right off. Service - okay, but a little slow. It's worth a shout.

Waiter has been great! But food and price for restaurant week special, don't even worry about the restaurant week deal. . So far restaurant week only saves you 5 dollars. Fire cracker shrimp were the size of dimes, not worth it. vegetable bed shrimp came on was better. . Dumplings were cold and seemed to be from frozen bag manager said there not frozen but i think he is lying. . Chicken kara-age appetizer a little small but was the only appetizer that came out hot.. Entrées came out and they are very delicious. Manager came and was rude. Mango sorbet was great!

It's loud! At least on Friday's. They have a DJ and folks might get up and dance ???????? ???? food and presentation is great. Fish is fresh with great service ????
