Today I was struck by an irresistible craving for mango sticky rice. That's when I found Ng Cafe. It's near my place of work, but I'd never tried it before. Then I saw that the bread and tofu are housemade, so I HAD to get a tofu banh mi. Totally blown away by how good my food was. The tofu was super fresh, lightly fried with LOTS of black pepper, just how I like it. The bread was amazingly crusty and chewy. The mango sticky rice was absolute perfection... Very saucy, slightly savory, and not too sweet! Generous slice of ripe mango too. I will be coming back here. I need to try all of their other dishes!!! The inside of the restaurant had a cool vibe too, so I won't do takeout next time. Vegetarian options: Option to sub tofu for any protein. Online takeout ordering has lots of customization.
First time visiting today and I enjoyed it. The woman taking my order was really friendly. I ordered the basil fried rice with beef and it had good flavors and tender beef. Large portion size as well. Lunch came with a free bottle of water and a cup of soup. I will be back here to try more dishes.
This is a cute small viet thai place. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Service was fast. Food was fresh and amazing. We had the tofu Bahn mi and it was one of the best I have had. The baguette was cruchy on the outside and the inside was warm and soft. They make their baguettes fresh in house. We also had drunken noodles and that was spot on as well
