Placed a Togo order for the first time ever eating here I have to say the experience was overall great. Quoted me 20 min wait so I waited twenty and drove over. When I got there their was about 5 people waiting for food within ten minutes we all had our food were on our way out and 5 more people were walking in. The staff was friendly and efficient. When I got home ate my plate I was amazed with how flavorful every dish was I had a little bit off every order I will definitely be back this was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time in Austin !
I ordered the "Chicken Baked In Rock Salt" and when I got home this is what I got. Cold chicken with some type of sauce on the side. I was charged $27.02 for this. There is barely any type of meat on this chicken. I called and ask if this was correct and if the chicken came cold. The guy over the phone says yes it comes cold just throw it back in the microwave and heat it up. This is terrible ya'll.This is the first time I have ever posted something about food ever. But I had to post this and let y'all know that this is just unacceptable. I'm a very reasonable person but being charged $27.02 for this cold chicken with no type of meat on it is just terrible. I will not be going here anymore. I use to get their fried squid all the time and to have this happen to me is just devastating.
No frills good food. You come for the great food, not the ambience. Crab fried rice and crispy pork belly were 2 of the unforgettable dishes. On the negative side, the restaurant ambience is bad. Front counter is very messy. Dining room is cluttered with items that don’t belong there. Furniture is very old. Ceiling is dirty.. Lighting is bad. This is not a place to go if you are trying to make a good impression on someone.
