Newk's Eatery

Wanting to try something different we found Newk's. We like the menu selection. Nice place. We shared a "Q" with a bowl of gumbo and a Mediterranean pizza. The sandwich was great. Taste the difference in their bread ????????. The soup was busy (as gumbos usually are), but tasty. The pizza was relatively dry, but the center dough was soggy, like undercooked. Overall, the pizza was a very, very salty mess. If we ever go again it won't be for the pizza, or the overpriced soft drinks.

We had the Turkey Avocado sandwich and a Supreme pizza today at Newk's. The service was great. The food however was boring. Our sandwich was flavorless and the pizza was...OK I guess. The toppings were meh. Most definitely not going back. Shoulda stayed home and had leftovers and saved the $30.

First time visiting this restaurant. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I had the Italian sandwich and it was very tasty. My wife had a salad and enjoyed that as well. The kids menu is not really a kids menu, it is more for toddlers. The grilled cheese sandwich is very small and disappeared within a few bites. Other that that It was a good visit. We will be back, but probably without the kids.
