Yesterday was my birthday, and my boyfriend planned out a birthday dinner for me with some friends at Muss & Turner's. I'd been there once before, and the food and service was great both times. I was too full to eat dessert right after our dinner, so I ordered a dessert to go. When I got home, I went to put the dessert in my fridge, and I noticed an envelope in the bag with it... I opened the envelope to find a birthday card signed by all of the M&T employees!! Can I tell you how unbelievably thoughtful and sweet this gesture was?! I worked in the service industry for 7+ years, and I never worked at or have known a restaurant to do something like this. That kind of personal touch is what wins a customer for life. Thank you, M&T's for a great experience! ❤️

Summary: deceptively overpriced and mediocre. They have lost my business. Today I ordered the lobster roll over the phone. It was not on the website so I was told to place the order over the phone and pay when I arrived. Upon arrival they took my name and my card (without giving me a total price) and rang the card. It’s came to $46.80 FOR ONE LOBSTER ROLL. I expressed shock and the server went to get a manager who informed me that was the price. So now I’m in a bind. Because I should have asked how much the lobster roll was before handing over my card. They also should have had the item listed on the online menu, or at least specified a total because I never would have ordered a roll for that price. It never occurred to me a roll would be almost $50. Now I love lobster rolls and order them whenever present on any menu. I’m used to paying $18-$30. My most recent roll was in midtown Manhattan right below the park. Expensive part of town. The roll was $32. It was great and I was happy to

A friend took me here and we went straight to the "hidden" speakeasy located at the back (go through the walk-in freezer looking door). I really liked the darker ambience back there. She recommended their cocktails so I tried the brown thrasher (bourbon, smoked apple shrub, cynar, lemon, maple) which I found to be delicious and very unique. I'm a big fan of flank steak and so I ordered the chipotle-grilled flank steak. The meal was beautifully plated (see pic) and tasted great too (although I've had better flank steaks at Mexican restaurants). For $40 you don't get a ton of food and I left a little hungry. I choose to rate this 4 stars only because I felt the menu was a bit overpriced. Perhaps your paying for the atmosphere? Regardless, a nice experience and I would love to come back and try something else.
