Moreno's Mexican Grill

Decided to give Moreno's a shot since we were in the mood for Mexican food and also had to do some grocery shopping (Fry's is right next door). THE GOOD: The food is actually good. We ordered the Moreno Burrito, a Chile Relleno and a Sonoran Style Hot Dog. All of these were on point. The burrito included the Mixta (pork/asada) which had good flavor and just the right amount veggies mixed in. No complaints on the Relleno. The Sonoran Dog was real good with a lot of flavors and fixins dressed on top. Would definitely order these again. THE BAD: The place is busy and it appears they are short staffed. We were told they only had a small table outside so we took it - bad choice. We never received the complimentary chips and salsa until we asked about 20-30 mins later. We never got offered refills on our sodas and our food took forever to come out. It was like we were second class customers looking thru the window watching everybody else getting served and waited on so my recommendation is D

I’ve gotten ven this restaurant a couple of chances and today it’s the last one. Reason being that the employees haven’t been good to us. Not sure why but it takes 10 minutes ti get out drinks and 15 for chips and salsa. We’ve also noticed that other tables get serviced first and it feels like we get discriminated for being Hispanic. I’m not wanting to play the race card in this but every time we’ve been in this happens to us. They really need to work on their customer service

Good place for good Mexican food! I had the steak and shrimp fajitas and they were so good! Cooked just the way I like them! Service was fast and friendly. My ONLY negative was the staff were being very loud and screaming at each other and laughing loudly. Im glad they're happy, really! The young man even called the waitress a F'n Bit@h, playfully, but I shouldn't have to hear all this! Very unprofessional. Other than that, they do good food! Compliments to the Chefs!
