Mochilero Kitchen

When we entered the restaurant was packed yet the vibe was cozy and the smell of mesquite or pecan wood filled the small restaurant, we waited 30 minutes for the dinner rush and glad we did. Ordered the Mole Chicken, was a unique take on this classic somewhat sweet with agave nectar or honey served with pickled peppers onions and cauliflower which I could have done without but the mole chicken was awesome. This Arizona and North West valley native has become bored of the rinse and repeat Mexican restaurant menus in our area so this Oaxacan cuisine inspired menu is most welcome and was right up my alley. Everyone enjoyed the margaritas and the flan at the end.

Got a bite to eat here and so happy I did! Food was really good! Drinks were very good and with a kick, food came out quick and service by the staff was great! So happy I made a stop here, will make sure I stop again when I visit AZ!

Tried this for the first time. Beautiful inside. Waited a little no big deal. Sat down, service was great. Ordered the three taco plate. The Carne asada taco was a lot better than the short rib taco. But honestly, I've had better seasoned tasting tacos. My wife had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. She said it was average. May have to go back and try something else.
