Love it! I used to live very close to this restaurant and I moved away 5 years ago. I was in town for a visit and owner remembered me and she remembered what I used to order. The food is still just as good as it was before, I love this place!
This was our first time visit Caminero and we were FAR from disappointed! As you enter the door, you are transported to Mexico. The murals on the wall are beautiful and submerge you into the culture. We both ordered the Mexican eggs breakfast burrito. As we prepared to pay, the owner offered us "fresh watermelon " juice. Absolutely SPECTACULAR! Reminded me of warm summer days, in the park, eating fresh watermelon. We have found our new "place"! Definitely will be back!
So, I'm from California and we have alot of these family spots which I love to support. This place has good reviews so my wife and I were excited about trying it. We walk in and the dude at the front looked like he didn't want to be there. We were ordering our food trying to decide what we want and as we were thinking out loud the guy was charging us. No big deal but he was being short and really unfriendly. After we were done ordering he leaves and an elderly lady takes over and we were left waiting and waiting. Finally after a few people had come and gone I went up and asked for my food and she tells me that nobody told her that we had ordered! We get back to our room and not only was the food subpar but they didn't even give ue some stuff that we had ordered and payed for. Would not recommend this place if you're used to good service and good food.
