Rubio's Coastal Grill

I've been here a few times and have not been disappointed yet. The shrimp tacos are the best thing we've had although we did try the lobster when it was on special and it was just mediocre. IMHO, I think the Mexican corn street taco and Verde shrimp taco plates are the best thing on the menu. The ingredients are always fresh and the plates are a solid value. The beans act as a great dip for the chips!

The food presentation was very good and delicious. There is a young girl, her name skips me at the moment, but her service and attention to detail was 5 stars. If they had more like her working in the food industry, I could certainly say there is light at the other end of the tunnel. Her work ethics were clearly demonstrated and she took pride in her work. Good job!

The last 4 orders we have placed have been wrong. From forgetting whole items to forgetting sides, forgetting cheese, forgetting drinks. Wrong tortillas being used. Stale chips, tough chicken..... the quality of food and service has gone drastically down hill at this location. The pictures are to show the amount of chips we were given..... just sad. And then you see the kids chicken "strip" meal..... no strips, just 5 pieces of "chicken" two of these pieces were just breading with no chicken. This place is pathetic.
