Mimi's used to be the bomb! Creole-french inspired restaurant with bread pudding which is one of my favorite desserts, what's not to like? Well the quality of the food has been on a steep decline for years. This particular location has hit rock bottom. The place smells old and musty and the food tastes stale. I doubt anything out of there is fresh. The manager Eric gets an attitude if you dislike a dish. They have nice servers but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the poor food.
It was a good experience having my breakfast in there. It had a cozy environment. The staff were friendly and polite. chicken was crispy and tender. Pancake was yummy.
This place is pretty nice there wasn't anything else open in the neighborhood so we went here. I was not disappointed, in fact this place is amazing. Their pumpkin loaf is delicious, a must. I got the turkey and eggs and it was really good, didn't leave anything on my plate. I will return.
