Came at 6:30pm and the workers are so slow!! There were only two families ahead of us and it took 20 minutes to get to the front only to find out the falafel was completely out and they said they weren’t gonna make anymore. Why don’t they make more continuously like chipotle does when they run low on ingredients? The dinner rush hasn’t even started! And the majority of their premade menu items have falafel inside so how can you even not have enough. They also didn’t have any of the drinks either like other locations. Since my family is vegetarian, we couldn’t just eat the meat so we left and went across the plaza to chipotle and had our food in 2 MINUTES bc the workers there are actually efficient and don’t run out of ingredients
I love the concept of Cava, it’s fresh ingredients and flavor but man….. this Irvine location sucks. Not sure what happened with the management but for the last couple months they are consistently running out of ingredients and don’t bother to take care of ridiculously slow moving lane. I hope something will change otherwise will have to look for different lunch spot.
The food is good, but this is the third time I've come in and ordering has taken 25-30 minutes. The process could be streamlined and made to be much more efficient. I recommend ordering online. Lastly for vegan folks, there is falafel, but it's the same price as meat options....
