Meeting at Market

Right in the center of it all! No matter where you are in downtown Charleston, this place is convenient. Located inside the Belmond Hotel. Belmond has an entrance on King and Meeting. This restaurant is on the Meeting St side, hence the name. We didn't want to wait so we sat at the bar. It was Saturday afternoon and crowded. We had great service. The food was awesome. We had a vegan meal there. You have to ask and look at side dishes and appetizers. But still, we had a vegan meal. The French onion bruscetta was amazing! Seasonal dishes available. Full bar. NOT under staffed! Yeah! The perfect place to sit by the window and people watch. Also, nice couchy tables in the back. Almost forgot about all the TV's to watch whatever sport you're into. We will go back! Vegetarian options: Salad. Appetizers. Side dishes. Parking: There is no parking. You are in the middle of downtown. Plenty of parking garages around. Also , you could valet park at the Belmond.

We loved grabbing a drink here! The drinks were awesome, they quickly accommodated putting a baseball game on that we requested. The bartender was very busy yet service was pretty quick. I ordered the sticky toffee and that was AMAZING! Will definitely be back here
