They still have outside seating which is sheltered from the elements. The interior could use some updating. There is plexiglass that separates the booths some of which were dirty with fingerprints and food smears. The server was polite and attentive. Food came within a reasonable time. The pear and walnut salad was certainly plentiful and the dressing was pretty good. Maxs doesn’t open until 11AM so not much for breakfast.
I encountered a situation where Apple Pay was not available and the server allowed me to retrieve my cards from my car. However, the managers refused and insisted that I leave my wife behind. The manager and the team were visibly angry. This incident reflects poor customer service. I have taken the initiative to inform our local friends and community about this experience
Have dinner which next to the hotel we are staying. I was curious with the many reviews. Ordered the calamari and it did not disappoint me serving was big compared to most restaurants in east coast. Food was all good and staff are nice. I highly recommend to give it a try. … More
