Service was good (the bus girl was bad tho, gave us a look and attitude bc we walked in without a reservation, but our waitress was very nice). Food taste meh, nothing special, but highly overpriced ($50/person but we certainly didn't walk out too full). Takes FOREVER for the food to come (~60 mins). Def would not come back. Oh ya, parking wasn't easy either.
WOWWW! I found a yakitori place that I’m definitely going to be a consistent customer from now on. What I liked: - They take reservations over the phone. +1 - Ambiance is great! I liked how each table is separated by glass barriers. They use real candles. You take off your shoes before you entire the table area. - Service is a bit slow but very good. I really liked our server. She checked up on us when she could and gave us some great recommendations for skewers and sake! Here’s what I ordered below: AWESOME (must order) - Cod belly: #1 favorite thing. So tender and flavor is perfectly sweet, salty, and umami - Chicken heart - Takowasabi ($9): soo good! Raw octopus marinated with wasabi. It wasn’t too overwhelming and had the perfect bite. - Chicken gizzard If you like drinks, we ordered the 720 mL Tatenowaka Phoenix sake for $85. It was the perfect amount for a group of 4 and was light, fresh, and sweet. GOOD - Grilled Onigiri: this is good to eat with the skewers - Pork belly PASS: -
The spicy beef ramen is delicious. It never disappoints. My other go to is the spicy pork belly skewers I can never get enough of them. The atmosphere is so comfortable you can have a beautiful date night or a night with the family. Another plus to going here is the manager May is the sweetest person she always checks on you and makes sure everything is going great. She's always very nice to talk to. Me and my fiancee are always having good conversation with her. This is a must visit.
