We Needed a place to eat while in New Orleans for a few hours and decided to try this place out. Our waitress was very attentive and professional. I got the grilled redfish, which had a somewhat of a tough texture for fish. With a side of grits and greens and they were so good. We also got the gator bites for an appetizer. And my partner got the crawfish etouffee. For a cocktail, we got the Passion Punch, it’s a nice fruity drink didn’t tasty too much liquor. Overall we had a nice experience
First, from being greeted by Malcolm at the door so warm and inviting, then the ambience we loved all the lit signs and great spots for photo ops throughout and then we reached the top floor where there is rooftop seating with a great view, it was so very hot so we opted to sit inside and had one of the best servers we have ever had, Dee was amazing, he felt like kin, he felt like home and it's not often in this world we encounter people with his warm spirit. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and because of that it made it hard for us to decide which dish we wanted. But the special was a blackened flounder over a delicious pasta but when Dee mentioned he had it with the fried fish I needed to try it and thought it best for my hangover, it was delicious. The food, atmosphere, and great service are the reason this place comes so highly recommended.
First arriving and I was a little upset for how long it took our server to get to the table. Once the server Ponce came to the table we were saved!! The food was amazing, the table order the large shrimp platter it comes with fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce, and 12 large shrimp, the bucket platter came with 5 catfish 5 large shrimp, 5 oysters, 5 stuff crabs, fries coleslaw and cocktail sauce. Everything was amazing I truly would come back.
