TBH is was just a tad disappointed with our first visit..we went at around 6pm on a Friday night which we realize was a peak time. It took almost 40 min to get a table for 2. They did have a server in the waiting area and the bar was providing expedited drinks to those who had to wait and the server had a mobile scan pad so payment was simplified and we did not have to worry about leaving a card or carrying a tab. Before I start the critique let me just say that all the staff we interacted with were the very picture of grace under pressure. It was pack, super loud and one step above chaos in there. But the staff where polite, efficient and professional especially our server Hannah who had fantastic knowledge of the menu and did wonderfully. Now to the critique. 1) They have a huge outdoor patio that would have been lovely to be seated at but it was pouring rain and unfortunately they did not build it with a retractable roof. 2) The ceiling is solid metal so their is nothing to absorb
Had super high hopes here. But this place is nowhere near the same caliber as the one in Denton. I even had to ask " are you sure this is the same one as Denton?" Names of the burgers here were different or so it appeared and that was the first confusion. Ordered queso and chips $10.25 the bowl was tiny, chips were stale. Burgers were small, almost reminded us of the patties you get at costco where its all pressed out by a machine. For some reason it seemed like the one in denton made their own burgers. Nothing fancy with the burgers here and most of them were almost $15. fries were like little bits and pieces. Like we all got the bottom of the fry basket. Not very hot, and again very uneventful. We got to try this place but Kennys and even chilis ( hate to say that honestly) is better. It was a nice place but the food was just boring. Place has only been open for 3 weeks and the kitchen is already complacent. 2 stars for the food 5 stars for our server thats a 3 star place
We have been waiting for this place to open! Fun decor and unique “Texas” flare. The parm fries were amazing. You must try the blood orange craft brew on tap. Our server Riley couldn’t have done a better job! ….. Downside - the burgers were really disappointing. Both came out cold and were tough with zero flavor. Two tables next to us called the manager over to complain about their meals during our visit (which detracted from the experience.). The poor host stand was overwhelmed and struggling - but they were super kind and friendly to everyone!
