Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Coming from out of town Lou's was highly reccomended for the best deep dish pizza. With nothing else to go on we made the quick trip and it did not disappoint. The appetizer of calamari and the personal deep dish pizzas that you can custom top for any taste were excellent. Paired with a nice glass of wine and finished off with hands down some of the best Tiramasu I've ever been lucky enough to try. As my guest commented, it was hard to tell what was better, the tiramasu or the pizza. Price point is in check and eating in their open room looking the Gateway Veterns Park it makes for a must stop from anyone. Enjoy!

My pizza saga continues last time I was here I had giordanos this was next and then Peaquods the next time I think the crust at Lou’s is better and that’s where it halts for me we got the classic Lou’s as was recommended by people I know that say this is the best it was as thick as Gioranos and this is a bit watery I think because of all the tomatoes on top which I have to mention I do like the tomatoes not very saucy and I didn’t feel it had nearly as much cheese as giodanos everyone has their own tastes this didn’t hit all the checks for me but it may for some …I look forward to trying peaquods next time I’m in Chicago
