Family House Restaurant

We have never had an issue. The food is always good. Except this time food was supposed to be delivered at 5:30. It is 5:45 still no food, called and they told me they would have manager call me back. Called me 10 minutes later and said food was on way. Finally delivered at 6:15 and it looked like a cook delivered food, he had apron on and was knocking on door, we live in condo and said what buzzer to hit. If we were not paying attention we probably still would haven’t received our food. Kind of costly for 2 people. And food was warm not hot like when we normally receive it. So I am thinking it was sitting until someone could deliver. I was very disappointed in them this time. Will probably be our last. They could have at least thrown in an extra egg roll.

The food used to be my favorite go to shop. Now it’s awful I haven’t been back here since I tried the new owners food once. Not good at all How after a year have they not made any changes? This used to be my go to chinese spot. The girl taking orders was awesome and always got things right. Still a disaster. Why did they do this........

I really wanted to like the food here as it’s close to where I live. Sorely, I was very very disappointed. I ordered the king pao chicken lunch. First off the chicken pieces while generous were very tiny. The chicken tasted like it was earlier fried first then for my order tossed in the wok. There was only a couple pieces of celery and carrot. No onions or peppers like I’ve had at other places. The egg rolls were good but had a a few little burned pieces on the outer wonton probably from other foods that had been fried before. Basically if I didn’t have Sriracha sauce at home, there was no flavor to the chicken or the fried rice. I’ll stick to the areas 5 star Chinese for the same price!
