A hidden gem for sure. The food was amazing. I had the oxtail, rice and peas and greens. The oxtail was literally falling off the bone! The staff was awesome. We were greeted immediately with smiling faces and laughs. They made great suggestions on what to order. Pro Tip: You want the Ginger drink (house made) with Hibiscus. Will definitely be back!

I wanted to love my meal, I had high hopes. I ordered delivery, came in a decent amount of time, warm and packaged well. Spent about $35. I ordered Lg jerk tips, the tips actually came in a round container smaller than the Sm side orders, which was odd & pieces were mostly bone. They smelled great but was disappointing, so bland and no jerk flavor. Realized the jerk flavor came in a separate container. It would make much more sense to marinated the tips in the sauce or at least mix the two so the meat absorbs that flavor. I also ordered Sm collards, Mac n cheese and yams. Yams were too sweet & a mash potatoes consistency. Mac n cheese was extremely weird, more like a rigatoni pasta drowned in I guess some type of cheese sauce. Definitely not a traditional Mac n cheese sauce. Greens were lacking flavor like everything else. Overall disappointing, maybe because I really expected big flavored comfort food that one would get from a soul food restaurant. Definitely not comparable to soul f

We recently ordered Lil Red’s for our 1 year anniversary party. We ordered food for about 35 people. I submitted an inquiry via email and I received a call back very soon after. Placing an order was extremely easy, and I was able to pay the deposit over the phone. We ordered the greens, cornbread, pulled pork, mac n cheese, and boneless jerk chicken. The food was ready for pickup at the agreed upon time, and expertly packed. Everyone was so friendly and willing to lend us a hand in loading the car. The food was perfectly hot when we took off the covers and ready to serve. And the smell was intoxicating! Our party was memorable for many reasons, but the food was certainly one of the top highlights. I received so many compliments on the food, from “this is the best bbq I have ever had” to “do you have ziploc bags so I can take some home?” , and everything in between. The portions were extremely generous. I personally think the star of the show was the mac n cheese, but judging by the amo
