My son was in from New York and we stopped in for a quick meal before heading to the Guardian’s team shop so he could represent Cleveland at Yankee’s Stadium. Always impressed by the service and the quality of food, I knew Lago was the place to go! I felt safe parking in the attached garage and being a “freeze baby,” it was nice that we didn’t have to walk outside and could go directly from the parking garage into the restaurant. We were seated quickly and immediately provided with our menu options by the hostess then approached by our server within minutes. He was equally attentive and accommodating. Service was quick & efficient. The meal presentation looked delicious and the fresh flavors did not lack in the least! My favorite soup is Italian Wedding soup and I had been craving it for some time. I was impressed that the meatballs remained juicy and the broth was clear & not in the least bit greasy. It was loaded with the right portions of broth:veggies:meatballs:yumminess! Flavorful
Very nice urban and modern vibe. Great location at the Cleveland “flats” area, right by the Aloft hotel. Walking distance to several other places to eat and drink. They had some outside seating which was pretty casual but the inside bar/restaurant was quite nice and upscale. We only did drinks. VictorB
Love the atmosphere and staff are always friendly… valet is the same price as the parking lot so why not take advantage! Prime rib is amazing probably my favorite item on the menu
