La Tiendita Colombian Restaurant

It’s our first time here and we will definitely come back! Our friend has been raving about this place for a long time so we finally came to try it out! We ordered a plate with lots of goodies to share for 2 people. There’s blood sausage, sausage, plantains, yucca fries, chicarrones, fried Golden mini potatoes and cheesy arepas! We also got the soursop drink with agua. Everything was delicious and was brought out to us super quickly. Our server she was friendly and made sure we liked what we ordered. The vibe of this place and the food you can definitely tell it’s very authentic! We really enjoyed our meal here and will be coming back more often!

Great food! Fast service! Attentive waitstaff! The food here was so amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never before eaten Colombian food, but after looking at the menu online first I walked in knowing what I wanted! I had the scrambled Huevos Al Gusto breakfast with tomatoes and onions which is served all day. I chose the Queso Arepa and the dark Colombian coffee (included in the cost of the meal). I also had my dessert -- Queso Con Dolce with blackberry sauce -- served with my meal. My friend had the Arroz Con Pollo which she allowed me to sample -- the serving portion was huge! And the flavors in the rice dish were delicious beyond description. She also had the guayaba juice and hot chocolate. We shared the yummy crispy sweet plantains and chicken empanadas. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but the delicious aroma drew me in immediately and I didn't think about photos until after I'd eaten most of it! This was a great little restaurant with excellent service.

What a great find! Our family absolutely loves Colombian food, and what a nice surprise to find a high quality authentic Colombian restaurant in our area! Their arepa's are amazing, the empanadas came out piping hot, crisp, and sooo flavorful, and the Bandeja Paisa was off the charts good! Oh, the Aji was spot on, and the Colombian chorizo was perfect! If you have never had a Colombian chorizo, give it a try - it is so different than spanish or mexican chorizo, with a great flavor. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
