Pedrito's Mexican Food

I have seen this place a few times before and decided to stop in on a whim for a Pastor Burrito, as I do love me some al Pastor… The meat was a little on the dry side, and the flavor was decent but not earth-shattering. A bit disappointing. The burrito was substantial though, with rice and refried beans also inside This place is an absolute hole-in-the-wall, and I don’t exactly mean in a charming way. The drop ceiling tiles look ready to give way, and there are several booths in the little dining area being used to store boxes and other random items. I think the owner doesn’t expect many people dining in It basically looks like a food truck hastily unpacked and set up shop in an old auto service station That said, things don’t look dirty or unsanitary. The “A” ratings from the health department are plastered proudly all over the front door If you can look past the unsightly clutter and disorganization it’s not a horrible place to cool your heels and grab a quick Mexican bite. Very humble little restaurant that needs more praise. The gentleman that runs the restaurant is awesome he made sure we had all the necessities and constantly checked up on us. Tacos Alpastor were very tasty and enchiladas were good but need a bit of flavor. Overall, 9/10 if you need something on the go. This place was okay. A burrito was $9.69 without rice or beans or chips as a side. The beef well good was lacking seasoning it seemed like it didn't have any salt or pepper let alone garlic or any other seasonings you'd expect with Mexican food. I got the same thing with their Flautas they were not cooked enough as the tortillas were not crisp they were kind of soft and chewy and again very lacking in seasoning. But the beef seems fresh though lettuce was crispy and fresh as well a little bit thin on the guacamole on top of the flautas with some cheese.
