Nice place for dinner on our 25th wedding anniversary! I surprised my wife because she loves seafood. Bobby was an excellent server!
Highly underwhelming for high cost (expect to pay 50-100$ per person without appetizers or drinks). I was expecting bomb food for the price. I don't mind paying for good food but this wasnt it. Our server Bob or Bobby was great tho! Bonefish would've pleased my palette more, honestly. The calamari was chewy and breading was soggy. Fried green tomatoes were bland and breading crumbled completely off when I cut into it. Gumbo Yaya lacked flavor and temperature was room temperature at best. Had to add ridiculous amounts of salt. Seafood was also not at a suitable temp and the taste was just not there for me. Scallops were grittier than most seafood restaurants, my lobster tail was overcooked and rubbery, the fish was mediocre and probably could have been better doing it myself as my daughter also said i make salmon better at home lol. Husband wasn't impressed with the Chilean sea bass either. This was on our bucket list of restaurants to try but we most likely won't try again.
Excellent service and excellent food. Drinks were also good (I got the Crimson & Clover)! Would recommend the prix fixe dinner; I got it with the mixed greens salad, salmon, and banana cream pie ice cream. Everything was delicious! The only thing that I could complain about was that the steak was originally undercooked for my taste but they cooked it a bit longer upon request.
