Kelleys Tavern

Had a wonderful experience here Saturday night. Got the Tavern Brat and swapped for a hot dog because they were sold out. Also split the Reuben which was our fave! Davvy’s Magical Unicorn is a must try if you like Gin.

Our third trip to Kelley’s and we love this place. We always sit at the bar and get great service from Greer and JP! Food is great. We have tried different menu items each time and it’s all been very good, though I will say I am not a fan of the cheese dip. The Reuben is fantastic and the lobster bisque is piping hot. I also recommend the lemon pepper wings. ????

Opening in 2022, this quickly emerged as one of the best places to dine in downtown Gainesville, especially if you are a sports fan because this tavern has many large screen TVs. There's a big bar and the beer and cocktail selection is fine, but the food is really good, too, as is the menu. I had a reuben sandwich with a side of chili and it was a great $11 meal, one of the better reuben's I've had: meat freshly grilled with a tasty slaw. The seating is great, mostly big booths. The owner came to our table to check on how our meal was, and the staff was delightful and service quick.
