Very fresh & juicy! Perfect fried chicken. The cajun rice was sp-icy and oh so good.
I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich without pickles. I had to wait about 5 mins, but it was so worth it. This was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had... I'm sorry Chik fil a. I can't believe I typed that... I'm sorry Popeyes. I'm sorry if this seems biased. It was truly amazing and worth checking out this location. It is a tiny little spot on a corner lot. The building looks like it was renovated inside and possibly out. Go check out Church's Texas Chicken!
It only getss 2 stars. Sides were good. Chicken is grease flavored. No seasoning whatsoever. This will be the first and last time I ever eat from there. Chicken strips were tolerable with sauce. But very thin strips and half the size of them is batter. The kicker was I didn't get the biscuits to try instead they sent me with Hawaiian rolls. And gravy was in the mashed potatoes instead of separate. Not worth $40. Very disappointing.
