Jim's Diner

Ordered chicken fried chicken and mash potatoes and corn. The chicken fry tasted like he spilled the salt container in the breading. It was inedible. The mashed potatoes were instant potatoes and the corn was frozen corn with no seasoning. Obviously, we did not eat our food. Secondly, someone that owns a restaurant should go hire our waitress. She can't possibly make what she deserves at a place that has gone this downhill. She was kind and understanding and deserves to work at a decent restaurant.

The waitress was very nice and the food was great. It looked better than I expected! The stuffed french toast was so good with perfectly cooked french toast and fresh cut fruit. The hashbrowns were a bit overcooked but had a great texture. My partner ordered a burger which was fresh and hot. The fries were wonderfully crisp. It wasn't super busy at 845 on a Sunday. There were a few people there that were obviously regulars. We will definitely be returning.

Great old fashioned diner. I had the fried catfish for lunch. The catfish was super tender and broke apart easily but the breading was crispy and stayed on the catfish as I pulled it apart. Their fries were a thick cut fry by they were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There was only 1 server so it made the service a bit slow, but she was super nice and was trying her best.
