The homemade street tacos and tamales are some of the best. The meals are prepared fresh so don't expect fast food speed. The homemade green and red salsa is SO good! Fresh limes and radishes too! I've added a picture of the Dorado plate. Also the crispy pancake shaped snack available at the counter. Honey lovers, the LARGE container of Mexican Honey is only $15. I bought one!
We ordered asada street tacos since it was Taco Tuesday. We also ordered a pork tamale. The tacos tasted great, but the meat was a little bit dry. The pork tamale saved the day. The masa was perfect and the pork was flavored exceptionally. The prices were amazing.
Other than the wait. Or perhaps I should say even with the 20 min wait the tacos did come through. Man it was pretty darn good. I thought this was going to be another over rated taco shop. Happily surprised. Will definitely recommend to some buddies and will also return. Oddly placed in the north side of town! Happy find! Vegetarian options: Dont remember exact menu options but did see some vegetarian options.
