Always wanted to try this place as I work less than a mile away. The food was not what I expected at all. My crispy chicken salad had lettuce that tasted like air freshener, my chicken tasted like it was grilled in fish batter, and my husband's French toast was so bland he couldn't even finish it. Not to mention the $11 cheese sticks tasted stale and warmed up. Do not recommend.

A quaint and cozy diner that does the perfect balance of "keeping it simple" while excelling at what they do. Every dish I have tried had been very good, prepared quickly, and served by some of the nicest people imaginable. Being off the beaten path in a sense keeps them from being super crowded, especially at breakfast times. I haven't made it in for dinner service yet, but I don't see any indication there would be a change in service or food quality.

Did they change the cook? Or buying less expensive product? Fish and chips were not what we used to get. Fish heavily breaded with little fish under the breading and chips were not the buttery tasting fries. Tasted ok but not the same.
