This is pricier if you're looking for BBQ in Kansas City, but it's really good. I enjoyed the Salmon Dip for an appetizer and main dish was the Honey-Chipotle Chicken with potato salad and creamy cole slaw. The only issue I had was the excessive paprika and other seasonings on top of the potato salad... Which should've just been mixed in already. Not much of a complaint but more of something I was like, "Why?" Enjoyed the Boulevard Pale Ale on draft that was local. Parking: Parking garage across from restaurant
Very good BBQ place in KC. I got big pig ???????? sandwich ???? which was delicious. The onion Rings were massive, fresh and delicious ????. I tried their corn ???? bread ???? and so far is the best I've ever tried. Good service and everything looked very well structure and engineered( servers, kitchen, bartender, host). A must go in Kansas City.
We arrived in KC on a Thursday night. We checked in our hotel and headed straight to Jack Stack. We had multiple recommendations for JS before we flew in and another one from the clerk at our hotel when we checked in. It was a Thursday night 8pm. We found street parking less than a minute walk away. We were seated immediately. Server arrived shortly after. Friendly and helful advice allowed us to order a great meal. I have never enjoyed a desert as much as the carrot cake. I feel this is a great dinner spot but would probably opt for somewhere else for lunch because of the price and the upscale feel. If I return to KC this restaurant will be on my to do list again.
