Ironside Fish & Oyster

Rarities are hard to find, but this gem of a neighborhood eatery was not just found, but delighted in. $1 oysters did not disappoint. Clam chowder was plenty filled with clams, fish tacos FULL of yummy fish and extras, and our party of three was delighted with additional menu choices. Loved the ambiance and people watching. Service was outstanding. Price very reasonable. So great to see restaurants like this thriving close to the bay in the Village. Vegetarian options: You'll have options that will feed your craving Parking: Street parking easily found Kid-friendliness: Table next to us has two delightful and well behaved kiddos in their pre teens. We'll mannered kiddos will enjoy a restaurant of this vibe and leave their parents unconcerned to focus on the gastronomic wonders served. Wheelchair accessibility: First floor access. Outdoors too!

The food is incredible and the staff are very friendly!!! I visited here within happy hour, and ordered clam chowder soup ($4!!) and Lobster roll! I also asked if they have any non alcoholic drink as I have to work after dinner. They asked what kind of drink I like and made me an amazing one!! Later they also came to check if I like the drink or not! Not to mention it's the best chowder soup and lobster I've ever had!!! Everything is sooo good! Even their fries have rich flavor and more than merely fries!!! I'd definitely like to revisit here again!!!

I was really craving oysters so I found this restaurant and made a reservation. My server was super attentive and friendly. I ordered the bread which was so warm and soft with the butter. I also ordered 9 oysters but I pretty much ordered one of each kind. They were all different sizes, but very very good and refreshing. I also ordered a cocktail which was really good. I will surely be returning very soon.
