Great Italian place. We ordered the lasagna classic, which was very flavorful but felt a bit over cooked and seafood mix, forgot the name, which was really good and generous portion too. Overall good experience (fast and friendly waiter on a Friday night).
Stopped here with my family for lunch while exploring Little Italy. We came as soon as they were opening and were seated quickly, choosing to sit outside. We were served water right away. We ordered calamari as an appetizer to have while we wait for our main entrées. We were also served bread with marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was great; plenty of flavor and a little bit of spice to it. I ordered the Risotto alla Piemontese, which was really delicious. The risotto came in a crisped bowl of parmesan cheese. The risotto is likely a top-5 overall for me. My mother ordered the Linguine allo Scoglio, which was delicious and the mussels were cooked well (not overcooked). The service was friendly, attentive, knew the menu and had good recommendations. I would definitely come back to try other menu items if in the Little Italy area.
Came here on a double date with another couple. It was a Saturday night and the place was very busy so good sign for that. Also meant the service was fairly slow. Fresh bread on the table was nice. It came with a marinara sauce which was quite fresh. I think it was more like chopped tomatoes mixed with the other stuff - not so much of a cooked sauce. Husband and I split the gnocchi and chicken villainous Gnocchi not soft at all. Chicken came with vegetables on the side. And I asked for only broccoli and carrots (apparently there would be potato and zucchini as well). Vegetables will cook. Very tender and nice. I asked for extra vegetables on the side because they didn't seem to be enough on the great for two of us to split, and these came out really quick. Very big portion size on that as well! The other couple got that ravioli and the pesto with extra cream inside. That I really looked very appetizing. Very giant pieces of ravioli too. Tell me the news was quite a big portion size! Ve
