The service was fine and so was my food. However the manager verbally abusing the employees made me sick. Over the music all I could hear was the manager, shay screaming at all of her employees. I watched multiple servers take customers in tears. It was honestly terrifying to hear shay scream at everyone in the kitchen then come to my table with a smile and a soft voice while her other employees were trying to compose themselves. As a restaurant manager myself I understand getting frustrated with employees making mistakes. If you can’t be calm and patient with your employees then you don’t need to be a manager. Happy employees makes happy customers.
I’m giving this a 2 star because two out of the three dishes we had were delicious. However the service is HORRIBLE. The coffee served to us was cold, the gravy that came with my country fried steak came in a plastic cup that had been refrigerated. The gravy was COLD. The third dish we had was a chicken fajita omelette and it had a hair in it. Each one of these issues was addressed to the server. It was not until we asked for the manager that she came over. She refused to give the omelette to the gentleman with us for free. Something about the omelette had only two bites out of it. She said most of the omelette was still there therefore she can’t remake it and give it to him for free. She said that she’s been with IHOP for 23 years but they don’t give her the wiggle room to not charge anyone for a meal. We were not looking for anything free when we came in. Only good food and service. We don’t have a problem paying for those.
Rather standard choice for having breakfast. Service was good and fast. The choice of menu is what I would expect. Pancakes are well done, eggs also. The pork sausages are pretty standard. Prices are adequate. I think one may suggest the IHOP but expect nothing special.
