My friends and I went to this place for dinner. The ambience was really good with music and good vibes. Our server was nixy and she was one of the best servers out there. She explained each of the vegetarian options to us. We ordered crispy chicken bao, fried rice, ice cream, drinks ( mule, old fashioned ), tofu taco and noodles. Everyone was flavorful and tasty ????. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who likes asian fusion food. Note : please make an appointment and go.
Love sampan's happy hour! The food is delicious. Even better if you can get counter seat at the open kitchen and watch the chefs make all the food in front of you! Must haves are the edamame dumplings, pork bao, beef bbq skewer, kimchee fried rice, broccoli and brussel sprouts ! … More
I am in food business for over 20 years . Disappointed with this top Asian food ranking place . Philly has over 6000 restaurants . No way this place is the top Asian food. This is not athletic Asian food , more of an American Asian food . Definite not for orignal . Salty , deep fry . Spicy . Pricy . It mixed Korean / Japanese / Chinese food . But taste not like any of these food . Not recommend for someone wants to try true Asian food . They do not have Asian wine neither .
