This store is terribly short staffed which is par for the course in this area sadly- but the few staff they do have are doing all they can to make it work. We had a long wait for a mostly empty dining room- and come to find out it was because one manager (maybe assistant manager) was the only person there at 7:30am. He didn’t blame anything on anyone until finally we saw him in and out of the kitchen between orders and realized- he was not only waiting the tables but also cooking. Alone. Finally about 30 minutes later around 8am another server showed up and a cook. It’s crazy how people will complain about poor service when there’s no one willing to work. Ultimately, the food was hot and done properly so this guy deserved a big tip and a pat on the back- which we gladly provided. I hope others do too- but in the meantime if you’re rude or impatient not a good spot for you!
Came in today, as part of our Road trip (we’re from the UK). Although it was short staffed, the two servers did their best to be as efficient as possible and it really made a difference! Biggest of shout-outs to Lamont, made our day with his dedication to serving us and making us smile throughout. He really deserves a raise, and should be recognised for his hard work! Best service out of the many restaurants we’ve been to so far this week. Thank you!
