Great for kids. Excellent and fresh pizza. Great service. Prices are reasonable. Arcade games are super cool. The salad buffet is great. TLDR/ If you are a hungry and defeated parent wanting above average buffet style pizza this is the place to go hands down. Kid-friendliness: Buffet style, arcades, bathroom friendly, servers are aware it is for kids.
I've been a very long time customer of hungry Howie's I went there when I was a kid and "used" to take my new budding family there. Well No longer.. once praised for a family friendly place now has increased prices and a sign that charges 3$ for kids 3&(under) my new born and 1 and a half year old came with us. The latter as my fellow parents know eating is not always a thing that happens she sat there and played with a cheese stick and tossed other food around the whole time. Thanks to hungry Howie's new policy I get punished for taking my younger kids here. I think my future will be making pizza at the house or save the 30$ it cost for me, my wife + toddler and just order two pizzas from little Caesars and eat in the comfort of my home and at least get hot pizza. It's a sad day to see when the very thing that brought success to these companies now has them actively work against.
My husband and I decided to order wings and bread. It was our wedding anniversary and we had been out all day so we just wanted something simple and quick. We got there ton the window after ordering online and our food wasn't ready. They asked that we drive around the building and back to the window. I did this without hesitation or question. Our order was simply two eight count wings and cheesy bread with ranch. After a couple minutes more our order comes out and we get home. By this time it's storming so we decided to sit in the truck to eat. They were the SMALLEST baby wings EVER. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
