House of Yakitori

Every time I visit home from Illinois I must eat at a Yakitori. It is delicious every time! This is the original restaurant I used to eat at as a kid until they moved to this location. As an adult I followed them to this location and now can only eat there when I visit. I miss it. My heart literally glows when I pull up at this spot. I usually get the seafood and sides of hen skewers. I’m glad they survived COVID shut down season ????!

I went in around 3, had absolutely zero wait. They made it SO FAST and the food was wonderful. I haven't had yakitori in a long time and totally missed this flavor. So worth going! I'll be going back another time for something else because they have so much on their menu. Everyone there was super kind as well, and I'm happy to hear they survived covid. It seems like they've built a strong community that supports them so I'm excited to add my name to that list.

I love this place!!! Everything I have had is always GREAT. Okay, so I have only had yakitori, rice, egg rolls and salad, but that is only because it is so good, I only want that. Parking: Parking is normally great, but when the bar down the way is busy, parking can be tricky.
