Hogwood BBQ

Highly recommended but come here with an open mind. I had the two meat sampler (pork and brisket) and would consider the meats classic and straightforward but it's the sides that really stand out with personalities of their own. For example the coleslaw is vinger-based and includes kale which doesn't affect the taste as much as the overall texture. The potato salad appears standard but has hint of what I think is Rosemary. And the sliced pickles are thin and not overly sweet or dill. Again come in with an open mind and enjoy.

Great BBQ spot in Franklin. The brisket was delicious especially with the spicy bbq sauce. My buddy ordered the turkey and we both thought it was the best meat choice.

Loved this place!! Above and beyond helpful/courteous staff, clean and cute appearance, and best of all: awesome BBQ!! I got this potato there, it was excellent. It had 3 or 4 sauces on it and lots of BBQ inside. Several people in our group got ribs and enjoyed them. I'm from SC originally, so I wasn't used to the sauces, but they were good. Their main one is called white sauce. Cole slaw was good, not to sweet or sour, kind of in the middle. They had Stubborn Soda in their soda machine, which is a favorite for me.
