Hinata Japanese Fine Dining

I’ve gone three times over 3 years since they’ve opened. One of the best Japanese restaurants in the Midwest! An authentic curated experience using local fresh ingredients. The service is amazing. The alcohol list is expansive and fantastic. My only regret is I can’t come back more often because I am an out of towner Try this restaurant, you will not regret it.

Hinata was a wonderful restaurant. The chef used a lot of unique flavor combinations and played with the textures of dishes. The seafood was fresh and packed full of flavor. Everyone in our group loved the meal. The server paired wonderful sake with my taste and the courses. Previously I wasn't a fan of matcha, but the matcha pana cata changed my mind, it was so good. If you are looking for a fancy date-night restaurant in Indianapolis with high-quality Japanese food, look no further.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hinata, and I am thrilled to share my experience with you. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an extraordinary dining adventure. Meal was set for 8 courses with drink pairing, which was perfect with each dish. I am not a big fan of sake so they switched to wine for each course. Throughout the evening, our server expertly guided us through each course. It was a faster experience through the night. We did suggest to slow down each course to give more room for conversation. Overall, each dish was prepared perfectly, a unique experience, and a small fine dinning atmosphere. I would give the food a 4.5 if possible and it’s only our opinion; the dessert was not our favorite and would have loved an option to switch it out for the birthday dessert that looked incredible.
