I was downtown for work randomly and was looking around for a place to have lunch. This place was nearby so I tried the turkey pesto sandwich and the pork ginger noodle soup. The soup was fantastic—lots of good chunks of pork and a nice heat from the ginger. The sandwich came out warm with melted mozzarella and pesto all over. It got a bit messy, but it was awesome. Would recommend this place over anything in the Central Market nearby. In fact, it is definitely my favorite downtown restaurant.

The soups and sandwiches are super good! I can't think of anything they could do better. I wish they were open in the evenings because I would be there in a heart beat. This is the perfect place to pick up a meal and go. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone working in the area.

Best-kept lunch secret in Indy! Locally-owned Subito raises the bar for lunch places. Gourmet-level soups, salads & sandwiches without the pretensiousness - or prices - of other places that call themselves "gourmet." Everybody from the owner (Chuck, who you'll usually see when you're there) to the dishwasher is super friendly and super dedicated to giving you the most delicious meal humanly possible. At Subito, they clearly love and take a lot of pride in what they do ...and they don't skimp on the quality of their ingredients, either. Be warned, though: try Subito once & you'll be hopelessly addicted forever.
