I spoke better Spanish than the waiter spoke English. Was still able to get my order made and after 20 minutes with neither food nor drink while seeing others get served left.
I just moved to the area and was delighted to discover a Guatemalan restaurant so close by. The food tastes exactly how I remember it and they give you nice, big portions that you can eat over several meals. So excited to go back and try more dishes.
The food is tasty and they give you good portions but the two times I've eaten here, they haven't had half of the things I wanted to order (especially desserts, they never have rellenitos, pastelitos, flan, chuchitos). The caldo de res was very good, highly recommend. The mar y tierra was ok, the chicken seem dry as well as the carne asada seem tough. The pepian is good.
