Alibertos Mexican Food

Alberto's is a little drive-thru restaurant that offers big flavor, large portion size, and excellent customer service. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I've learned over the years that these are the hidden gems. We walked up to the drive thru window and a very helpful and friendly woman guided us through the menu and took our order. We ordered a carna asada plate and chicken enchilada plate. Both orders were large and delicious. The chicken was very succulent, not dry. The cheese and salsa had a great flavor. The carne asada plate had a good amount of beef. The guacamole is more of a guacamole sauce not straight up avocados and spices. Salsas offered here come in medium and hot. Watch out for the red salsa - it is not for people who like a "little bit of heat;" it is straight fire with a delicious flavor. There is no inside seating, but there are a couple of benches outside. Alberto's has locations all over Arizona, but is owned by different members of the same family.

We first found Aliberto's in Payson, AZ about 10 years ago and we've been fans ever since. The breakfast burritos are huge and taste so fresh and delicious. I absolutely love their red enchilada sauce and the rolled tacos and horchata always hit the spot!! The carne asada fries are my kids favorite and the chicken tacos are so good!

Really tasty. We ordered the carne asada torta & a bean & cheese burrito. I also ordered a diet coke, but it tasted terrible so I threw it out. Definitely need to clean their soda lines. Yuck.
