Grand Hacienda

This restaurant started up with such a bang and many happy customers to now when I arrive, my first thought is if the service will be good, the food to my expectations of other mexican restaurants. The prices went up during covid across the menu. To offer queso for $9.99 is crazy to me since you can get queso from every other mexican restaurant in the 20 mile area for half of that. A table of 6 gets one basket of chips and salsa complimentary and additional chips & salsa will be charged to your table. Chips and salsa only makes the restaurant more money. Recently I ordered a burger and fries since I really only wanted the queso & chips. The burger was literally 3 inches across and something that I would have expected at Krystal and Krystal would have been ashamed. I also received 9 french fries but they did give me 6 packets of ketchup. Really...that was it for us. I addressed my problem with Mario who was the acting manager and he only shrugged his shoulders when I showed him

We are very happy an authentic Mexican restaurant opened in this location. The area needed a good mexican restaurant. When we found out about it, we rushed to try it. The food was yummy and the size was big. You don't find huge portions in restaurants anymore. So we were pleasantly surprised. Their margarita was enormous! Tacos and chimichanga were fresh and yummy. Our waiter was friendly and always with a smile! We will definitely be coming back soon! One thing I missed there was more Mexican colors and decorations, like sombreros for example, or a huge cactus. I think they would add more charm to the restaurant. ????

Everything was good. Service took a little long but it was a Friday night and they were busy. Wanted to try a new spot. We weren’t disappointed by any means our waitress was sweet friendly and attentive. Would we go back, sure, would it be our must have… no. Overall a good place to eat.
