Godson's Pizza House

Opening week everything was good as a take-out customer. Ordered (Baked Meatballs) a couple weeks later and this was what I got. It had 3 meatballs in this huge circular plate, with what felt like 2 pounds of cheese underneath the sauce. Wasn't the greatest experience.

Great service & delicious food! The BBQ chicken pizza was amazing. Also very much enjoyed the manicotti, cheese bread, fried zucchini, and Greek salad. We had a lactose free person with us and they made a special pizza just for them too. Fried mushrooms are a must! This is quickly becoming one of our weekly go to restaurants. Dietary restrictions: We had a lactose free individual with us and they made a special pizza with no cheese that was still delicious.

Saw that someone new has occupied this Bradenton landmark so figured we would give it a try. Service was quite great; super attentive and friendly. Food was fairly meh. Portion size for the price on the fries was stingy, chicken sandwich wasn’t bad, but nothing special and the pizza was ok, but the crust was somewhat bland. We chalked it up to new-opening kinks that hopefully will work themselves out over time. It was a solid 2.5 star visit for us, but we’ll round up in hopes of a better experience next time.
