Godavari Cincinnati

Godavari is the best Indian family Restaurant I have ever eaten at in Cincinnati. The food was awesome Veg & Non veg what ever you ordered they serve you fully fresh, yummy & authentic food . My family’s 1st choice in Indian restaurants is Godavari always. They served food so fast. The Staff are also very friendly and good. Food Quantity & Quality is best. 10/10 Recommend!!! Vegetarian options: All vegetarian options are best we tried all South Indian styled, Chinese & North Indian Kid-friendliness: Kids like the most,less spicy yummy food.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. I am a South Indian and we ordered mysore masala dosa, Gobi 65, rava dosa and their supposedly special ‘Godavari paneer biryani’. Trust me when I say this, all the dishes were really bad. Some of them were raw and not cooked. Gobi 65 was tasting like a rice batter with virtually no salt or masala in it. I think this Gobi65 would be bland even for Americans. They claim to be South Indian and I am not sure how can you get dosa wrong. It was not cooked. The staff was extremely rude in taking the criticism. I would never suggest anyone to go here. I am adding photos and please excuse me for the grossness.

Food was great. However the water smelled bad. It smelled like chlorinated sewer water. We asked for bottled water, would have been happy to pay for it, but they DON’T OFFER BOTTLED WATER. We bought a couple of Limca cans from fridge and were disappointed with them as well. Chemical tasting fake lemon flavor. Management needs to address this issue and let me know. Otherwise we will likely not go back.
