Located behind the West Covina Mall is the Goucho Grill Argentina Steakhouse. This place is an absolute must for those who love steaks, grilled meats, or good, juicy, flavorable food in general. The restaurant itself is clean and simple with hard floors, wood tables, and leather cushioned chairs. The decorative elements have been kept to a minimum and can be found on a divider wall that separates the bar from the dinning room, and on the back wall which feature an artistic scene of cattle being hearded. From the perspective of the entrance, the bar lies on the left and the dinning room on the right. And at the time I went there, there was a canopy in the parking lot for additional open air dinning. We just wanted a night cap and some dessert. Came on a Friday and it was very nice. Live music, Great ambiance. We just had a bottle of wine and dessert. Dessert was this decadent bread pudding type. Yummy. They did give complimentary baguette bread with spread. We had with the wine- all good. Coming back for dinner.
Really nice menu. Came during happy hour but wanted a drink not on the happy hour menu. The bar manager insisted that I get the happy hour drinks. Not sure if he was saying this because he thought I couldn't afford the regular priced drink. I told him I wasn't interested in happy hour, and ordered off the regular menu. Service was OK, somewhat friendly staff.
