Frank's Noodle House Beaverton

This Beaverton joint has fallen off. Went here consistently over last three years and had some great food but my experience last weekend really got me wondering what in the heck is going on there. Service was horrible, we were left standing waiting to be seated for an uncomfortably long time despite the place not being busy and two staff making eye contact as we stood there. My salty pepper shrimp was dry and didn’t have any sauce. Just some fried shrimp with a small handful of sparse veggies. Wife got served a whole plate of plain noodles, no oil or sauce or anything. Didn’t make any sense. When asking waitress about it she pretended it’s normal. Do people really eat whole plates full of completely plain noodles?? It’s all quite surprising because they’ve been fantastic in years past. Definitely not worth it now especially given the prices. I’m curious if there’s been a change in ownership or chef or something?

Went to Frank's for lunch on a Friday. There were quite a few people there but they had plenty of seating so no wait. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles. They come in a bowl with pork and some veggies over homemade noodles. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 5. I got level one and it was just slightly hot but very flavorful. The noodles are the main attraction though. Good texture and very fresh. The service was also good and the restaurant was clean. A good value for the quality and quantity of the food. Parking and access was good.

Super fast service and I was able to eat outside. This place has the freshest and softest noodles I've ever had. They have varying spice levels but even the hottest isn't that spicy. My food came out in less than 5 minutes.
