Elmer's Kitchen (Beaverton, OR)

Absolutely delicious breakfast! I had the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were great! They gave me such a huge serving I wasn't able to finish everything. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

BACON IN VEGETARIAN FOOD!!! Our server was very nice and attentive, but never going back. I am vegetarian, my boyfriend is not so we go places that offer both options. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast bowl, and after I ate a little bit of it, I felt something chewy in it. Once I started mixing it I found bacon at the bottom of the bowl. Not one little piece, but more than few bigger pieces too. After coming back from the bathroom, because I puked for a good 20 minutes. I was told “this is not a vegetarian places, and cross contamination happens.” Which I understand but it is not my issue. If you can’t train your cooks right, don’t offer vegetarian food. Because this was not just a little piece of bacon that somehow made it in the bowl. They removed the item from our bill, which was nice. But telling me this is not a vegetarian place really felt like I was told to go somewhere else next time. They spoke to my boyfriend when I was in the bathroom and even he said he felt very uncomfort

Ok. German Pancakes. With strawberries. Do I need to say more? This was a lovely family breakfast with the traditional American breakfast that everyone wants. I ordered the German Pancake with strawberries and, OMG! I could die happy. So good! Everyone was very happy with their breakfast. Eggs. Great! Coffee? Hot. Waffles. Yes please. All of it was perfect. We look forward to our next family breakfast.
