Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine | Pearl District

Food was ok but I had to say the two waiters we met were quite ignorant. When I asked one waiter (one with Gucci cap?) about their specialty as it was our first time, he impatiently pointed at the picture on the stand before rushing off to help others. We were not introduced to the menu. We had to ask for extra napkins and twice we had to ask him to bring water to our kid. We ordered an appetizer with a shrimp on vege and were not sure how to start as it was dropped off on our table without explanation. Fortunately, the table next to us had another waiter explained to them and we overheard. Personally, the food was a bit salty but the chef definitely put effort in preparing otherwise I would give the restaurant two stars. The beef broth was good. For restaurant of this standard, there is a lot of improvement for their services. We felt the service was comparable to eating on a local Thai street. There are better choices not even far from this restaurant. Good luck with your business!

Good service and food is interesting for sure. Very pretty and aesthetically I can’t hate on anything here for sure. However the food kinda suffers a bit, and can be on the saltier side. Some dishes seem like the flavor takes a back seat to presentation. Overall for the price, it’s just okay, not somewhere I would go a lot. But it’s certainly a good spot if you’re looking to Instagram a meal!

Cool unusual Thai restaurant with modern decor. I would probably call this nouvelle Thai, being a different twist on traditional Thai cuisine. The lobster pad Thai was amazing, and quite unique. Egg rolls were excellent, but the prawns appetizer was truly unique and quite delicious. This restaurant is full of surprises, and definitely warrants multiple visits to explore the menu.
